Home of the Labrador Retrievers
|Timberwood Farms & Woodview Kennels is a small hobby farm/kennel breeding quality Simmental Cattle and
Labrador Retrievers. Jacob and I take pride in home raising all of our animals. We strive at ensuring we are
always strengthening the breed whether it is cattle, horses or dogs.
We live on our farm with our daughters Adelynn & Grace and our 4 legged friends. Our dogs enjoy their
underground Invisible Fence and our puppies relax in our outside runs. Daily care and companionship is
something that is just a way of living here. It could be -30 or +25 either way we spend time with all of our animals
each and every day.
Our retrievers are bred to CKC standard. We strive to breed for great temperament, conformation and
intelligence in all of our animals. Our puppies stay with us until they are 8 weeks of age, and then move to their
new approved homes.
Our adult dogs have their, hips, eyes and elbows OVC certified before they are used in our breeding program.
Jacob and I are very proud of our animals and their accomplishments amongst the community/providence, and we
are sure this will continue in the future.

|History & Why we decided to breed Labrador Retrievers
|When I was small my parents already had an amazing black Lab named Duke. I was raised with him until he passed, and my parents
purchased another Lab for my brother and I, Pal. At the young age of nine months he was diagnosed with hip dysphasia. My parents had
decided to go ahead with the surgery to try and help him, but the end finally came and he passed on as well. After Pal, we went five years
without a Lab, and then one day Sandy my yellow Lab came into my life.
Her original family had their home damaged in the 1996 ice storm that hit Ontario, and Sandy was brought to the maritime to stay with my
Papa Leo, and later given to me. From May 1997 until October 6, 2004 she was my life and I knew one day I would bred Labrador
Retrievers, in hopes they would be half the dog she was.
After she passed my husband and I purchased two black female named Reece & Ebony. Reece was later bred to CH. Camalire Driftway
Wallaby Striker and we decided to keep a yellow female Elka from the litter. Riley is our male. We purchased him from Blair MacLeod.
Who knows where the Lab breed will take us from here. We plan to stay a small kennel, producing top quality champion puppies for
approved family homes.
We have already made many friends, and can not wait to meet more breeders and puppy buyers in the future.
We are not a high-tech kennel/farm, but we do offer affordable wonderful companions for life.
